Barcelona welcome Lyon to the Nou Camp tonight with their Champions League last 16 tie on a knife-edge.

A goalless draw in France in the first leg means Lyon can cause a serious stir at the Nou Camp should they grab an early away goal later this evening.

Barca have made it their mission to recapture the trophy they last won in 2015, with Clasico rivals Real Madrid winning the famous cup for the past three seasons.

With Real out, Ernesto Valverde’s side will be determined to reclaim the title as Europe’s best side.

Here’s how you can follow all the action in Barcelona…

Live Updates

Standard Sport’s Ben Hayward at Camp Nou…

Suarez is on his game tonight. The Uruguayan had the Camp Nou purring just now with an extraordinary dummy in his own half which allowed him to turn and run away from his rival and start another attack, which he almost ended himself with a low shot that went just wide.

“Uruguayo! Uruguayo!” the home fans sing.

David Lynch on Bayern’s equaliser

“Liverpool had been in complete control since scoring the opener so that goal feels particularly damaging. Jurgen Klopp appeared to shout “wake up!” to his players in the aftermath – it really was a case of switching off.”

36 mins: Almost a third goal for Barcelona to put this tie out of sight.

It’s more superb play from Suarez, who sells a terrific dummy before driving forward and shooting narrowly wide.

GOAL! | Bayern Munich 1-1 Liverpool | Joel Matip (OG) 38′

Disaster for the Liverpool defender, although Lewandowski was waiting to tap home!

Standard Sport’s Ben Hayward at Camp Nou…

That was put on a plate for Coutinho. Suarez, having won the penalty, also set up the second goal for his former Liverpool team-mate and Barcelona are in a comfortable position in this tie now.

Coutinho will have needed that confidence-booster too. The fans are singing his name now.

34 mins: Robertson denied by Neuer!

Huge chance for Liverpool to make it two as Robertson ghosts in behind Rafinha and it’s another great pass from Mane to find him. Firmino is arriving at the back post but the Scot goes for goal, and his shot is tipped away.

GOAL!

GOAL! | Barcelona 2-0 Lyon | Philippe Coutinho 30

Brilliant from Suarez, who collects a Rakitic pass and takes an excellent touch before squaring the ball for Coutinho to tap home from close range.

The VAR will check for offside amid Lyon appeals, but there was nothing wrong with that.

Here’s Sadio Mane giving Liverpool the crucial away goal.

David Lynch delivers his verdict on that Mane goal

“That is a simply stunning goal from Sadio Mane. The tightness of his first touch caught the entire Bayern defence, including Manuel Neuer, by surprise, and the composure he showed from there did not betray the size of the occasion.

“A massive goal fro Liverpool, and you’d back them for more if the hosts open up now.”

GOAL!

GOAL! | Bayern Munich 0-1 Liverpool | Sadio Mane 27′

Liverpool have the crucial away goal and it’s a horror show from Neuer!

Robertson sends a long ball up towards Mane and he gets in behind Rafinha with his pace. Neuer comes way off his line but Mane controls the ball and, with the keeper in no man’s land, he chips it delicately into the empty net. Brilliant goal.

Standard Sport’s Ben Hayward at Camp Nou…

Luis Suarez scored with a Panenka penalty at the Santiago Bernabeu in the Copa del Rey recently and Messi has done the same here in the Champions League to net the first goal in this tie.

Cool from the Argentine and Barca’s early pressure pays off. Lyon had been defending very well in the opening stages, but their good work is undone. A goal still takes them through, though, so the tie remains in the balance.

20 mins: So far it’s been just as tense and tight as the first leg was. A goal will change that, though, with neither side likely to keep the shackles on if they go behind.

GOAL!

GOAL! | Barcelona 1-0 Lyon | Lionel Messi 17

The most impudent of chips from Messi straight down the middle with the goalkeeper having already gone to his left.

Top class.

16 mins: PENALTY!

Denayer goes to ground near the byline and brings down Suarez, who makes the most of it.

The referee points to the spot and the VAR eventually concurs.

13 mins: Henderson can’t continue and he’s being replaced by Fabinho. A big blow for Liverpool, more in that they’re having to use a substitution this early.

David Lynch:It was a big call from Jurgen Klopp to start Jordan Henderson in place of Fabinho tonight, but its impact has been felt for all of 12 minutes. The Liverpool captain is coming off to be replaced by his Brazilian colleague.”

Standard Sport’s Ben Hayward at Camp Nou…

Plenty of movement from Philippe Coutinho in the early stages. The Brazilian has struggled recently for Barca, but he is making some good runs already and looks eager to make an impression here.

He is only in the team really because Ousmane Dembele is not 100% and it is a huge night for the former Liverpool midfielder.

10 mins: Everything Bayern are doing right now is coming down the left and that means Trent Alexander-Arnold is having to withstand waves of attacks from Franck Ribery.

Standard Sport’s Ben Hayward at Camp Nou…

There’s a lot of noise inside the stadium tonight. Sometimes the mood can be flat at Camp Nou, but the fans are usually up for the big European nights and they are making themselves heard in the opening minutes.

Yesterday, coach Ernesto Valverde said in his pre-match press conference that the fans would be needed and that it would depend on the team to get them even more involved. It has been a good start so far in both respects.

5 mins: A big concern already for Liverpool as Jordan Henderson goes down clutching his foot. Looks like the captain was involved in an accidental collision with Javi Martinez and he is off for some treatment on the sidelines.

4 mins: A sprawling save from Lopes denies Messi and keeps the score level early on here.

Barcelona win a couple of corners in quick succession, but Lyon just about survive.

A fast start from the hosts.
